I've been toying with Winamp skins off and on for about a year now with some signs of improvement. The skins that are posted her are some of the few that I ever finished before growing bored or sick of the picture. (Is it just me, or are there other skin makers that find their favorite anime character of little interest after staring at his/her face for 5 consecutive hours while trying to make things look right?) I do use a program called "Skinner" but ONLY to layout the basics. I do all the buttons by hand, take the time to do a title bar, and have oodles of fun making the visualizer. I'm neither a supporter of busy skins or cookie-cutter skins. If you would like to send me praise/help/death threats/psychological evaluations then e-mail me as I've never taken the time to get a guestbook. Kamui, and one of my first successful attempts at winamp skins, however I didn't make a Playlist or Equalizer for this one. I did a bad thing and just colorized the winamp files - and did that ever result in a guilty conscience. I hope to actually make real files on day... ^^; |

Shido from Night Walker. (as the audience shows signs of complete cluelessness) Night Walker is a fairly new 12 ep vampire series that I'm waiting to get my paws on. The skin is so-so, and the equalizer and playlist suffered the same fate as the ones listed above. |

WooHOO! I finally managed to make an attempt at an Equalizer and a Playlist. Granted this was done by toying with the main Winamp file, but it works! OK, enough there - the skin, done by request, is of Leon Magnus from the Playstation game Tales of Destiny which I have never played.

Cain from Night Walker. Very pretty bishounen vamp. The main image was edited from a scan of a cel that was sent to me. The skin its self looks much better than this cap would suggest; I must check the compression rate in my paint program. ~_~ I got a bit lazy with some of the buttons and because the Eq and Shuffle buttons would've run right across Cain's face, those are invisible. Had a bit too much fun with the Eq buttons, though it's bordering on tacky. I'm still not completely satisfied but had to post it before some unnamed people kill me.
